Name: Paleo Dig Two Week Session
    Date: June 13, 2017 - June 24, 2017
    Event Description:
    Two-week paleontology Field Experience.
While many people only dream of taking part in a dinosaur excavation, through CNCC that dream can become a reality.  Located in the heart of Dinosaur Country, Colorado Northwestern Community College is offering the chance to work alongside professional paleontologists to uncover fossils that have been buried for over 75 million years.

During a two-week session, you will learn about paleontology by diggin, brushing, and uncovering a unique fossilized specimen. There is no prior experience required to take advantage of this amazing opportunity... only a passion for experiencing fossils up close and personal.

While CNCC strives to make its program accessible to all individuals, all participants in the two-week field experience must be 17 years or older with the ability to: lift at least 25 lbs., Hike 1 mile in rugged terrain, work in an outdoor setting, kneel, bend, and squat for extended periods.
