If a picture paints a thousand words, the world couldn’t contain the words written in the photography by Rangely area business owner Kelsey Peters.

Peters, the owner of Kelsey Peters Photography, has been operating a local photography business since 2018. She is motivated by the desire to help families and individuals capture moments of time, preserving memories of occasions or seasons in life.

The interest in helping western Coloradans capture memories in photography continually motivates her professional background, according to Peters.

“I love being a part of the greatest milestones in people’s lives,” she said. “I get to preserve the priceless memories you will reminisce and admire for years to come in our rural community. “

Through her business, Peters seeks to deliver an environment and a product that provides exceptional and authentic images to customers. She is grateful for her clients, both past and future.

Gianinetti's Powersports Rentals

Perhaps no area is more perfectly created for recreational off-road vehicles than the state of Colorado, northwest Colorado in particular.

The region’s diverse terrain, stunning landscapes, and bountiful wildlife make the area a destination for weekend warriors of all abilities, creating a sizable tourism economy. However, when those vehicles have needs, they need repair and perhaps no Rangely area business is more synonymous with high-quality service for outdoor vehicles than Gianinetti’s Powersports Rental.

Owned by Nick and Andrea Gianinetti, the store has been open since 2019 and has from a storage shed of equipment to a large store front location featuring a variety of gear and equipment for outdoor and off-road usage. Fueled by a passion for helping others experience Colorado’s outdoors, the store has grown to provide service and rentals for off-road and all-terrain vehicles year round.

“We love seeing people experience our beautiful area, and enjoy creating fun, safe, family-friendly memories that will last a lifetime,” said Andrea Gianinetti. “Some of our renters come back each year to celebrate a holiday or get together with family or friends; we're honored to be a part of those adventures.”

In addition to providing rentals of outdoor vehicles ranging from all-terrain wheeled vehicles to snowmobiles, Gianinetti is also a known haven for vehicle service, winning prestigious recognition from Polaris. The company also has a high rating from customers.

“If you've never driven an OHV or snowmobile, we are here to help you have a great experience,” said Gianinetti. “We provide all of the tools and training you need to have a safe, memorable, family-friendly adventure. If you're an experienced rider, we offer the latest, up-to-date, well-maintained equipment so you can just enjoy the ride.”

Getting to know Two Five Nine Salon

Two Five Nine Salon, owned by Jessica Olivas had a ribbon cutting to signify the start of being back on Main Street at their new location of 258 E Main Street Unit D Rangely, CO.

Jessica has been a licensed Cosmetologist for over ten years and serving clients out of her home but recently got back into sharing her passion with more of the Rangely Area after El Agave moved from a brick and mortar business model to an exclusive food truck model and allowing her to focus more on her career path. Because the new location is already set up to support a food truck, her and her husband, Ever Olivas, owner of El Agave Food Truck have plans to hopefully be open more in that capacity as well. This new location is a perfect place for her clients and she even has room to welcome Ashley Chard's services of Massage, Facials and Body Waxing on certain weekends that Ashley's back in town.

Jessica offers an extensive array of services from Hair Extensions, to Basic All Over Color, Ombre or Balyage Color, Highlights, Women's/Men's/Children's Haircuts, Braids or Locs, Perms or Straightening. Appointments can be scheduled with her by texting or calling 248-302-0062.

Jessica is also a very active member of the Rangely Area Chamber of Commerce, having served on the board since May 2023 and in June 2024 was nominated and elected as the new RACC Board President. Congratulations Jessica on all of your professional and personal achievements!
