Chamber Chat
|
From the Director
| As the Chamber pushes into the holiday season, we’ve certainly been having some fun! During this year’s RARE Grant pitch competition, four amazing entrepreneurs were gifted Chamber memberships to help them along their way to success.
We’ve also wrapped up our first town competition of the season: the Scarecrow Contest. Driving down our streets and seeing the community come together for this feels so good. Knowing our community is still deeply rooted in our hometown makes so many of us proud to call Rangely home. The Board and I want to extend a huge thank you to every business that participated. It was not easy to narrow it down to only three winners! Every participant put real time and effort into making and displaying their creations, and it truly showed.
Looking ahead, 2027 is shaping up to be a great year. We have brought back CHAMBER BUCKS! It was a long-standing tradition, and we could not bear to let that go. We have also been hard at work getting the Lunch and Learn series back on the calendar, alongside business seminars hosted by local business leaders and content experts.
Plus, save the date! Our annual Crab Crack has been officially announced and will be held on February 13, 2027.

| 2026 Scarecrow Contest Winners! The competition this year was wonderfully fierce, and our judges certainly had their work cut out for them narrowing down all of the incredible, creative entries across town! A massive thank you to everyone who built and displayed a scarecrow and helped bring extra festive spirit to Rangely this October.
After much deliberation, the official winners for the 2026

It has been a few long years, but Santa has officially confirmed: Our Scout Elf is coming out of retirement and returning to Rangely! After completing a multi-year, top-secret mission helping Santa map out new chimney routes around the globe, Snickerdoodle missed our community spirit too much to stay away.
Keep your eyes peeled November 30 through December 11th! Snickerdoodle has promised to visit our local shops, and favorite main street spots to check who is being naughty or nice.
Welcome home, Snickerdoodle! ๐๐

Small Business Saturday.
Keeping our money working right here in Rangely is simple.
Studies show that for every $100 spent locally, nearly $70 stays right here in our community through wages, local taxes, and essential services. But our small businesses and restaurants do so much more than provide great goods—they are the true heartbeat of our town. From sponsoring local youth programs to donating to our favorite community events, those contributions simply wouldn't be possible without our commitment to shopping close to home. When we support local businesses, they keep supporting Rangely.
